Our capped products are the latest generation in composite decking. Through redesigning the product, we applied a tough polymer shell. Capping the composite core, we formed a non-porous, protective shield over the product, which guarantees a higher level of performance and a unique material finish. What’s more – we capped all four-sides achieving 360-degree protection from the elements.
Not real wood
WPC composite boards might look like real wood but it’s not. If you’re looking for a 100% fresh from the forest solution then this won’t match your criteria but composite decking is definitely a realistic imitation.
Composite decking when wet
All Wpc decking can be slippery when it is covered with ice, water or the common algae. Wpc decking is much more non-slip than traditional timber decking as it is designed to minimize the growth of mould and green algae. Keeping the decking regularly clean and brushing any loose dirt and debris from on and in between the deck boards and wash the surface down with soapy water.
Replacing Old
Wooden decks will have a frame spacing measurement of either 24 or 16 inches. When replacing the existing boards with composite decking on a deck with 24-inch frame spacing, you will only need to add joists 12 inches on center between existing joists. For decks with 16-inch spacing, measure and mark each joist that is at 48 inches. Remove all unmarked joists and rehang at 12 inches on center.
